Recruitment

Global St. Louis works to promote St. Louis nationwide as a premier immigrant destination that offers a lower cost of living and greater opportunities for foreign-born residents to work, raise a family, and succeed.

Recruitment campaigns will target specific immigrant populations in select metro areas, promoting the region’s benefits. Campaigns will also target workers in specific industries needed for St. Louis businesses, including:

  • Healthcare, Hospitals, and Health Clinics
  • Senior Living (acute care, assisted living, and residential living)
  • Hospitality (casinos, hotels, airports, dining, and leisure)
  • Advanced Manufacturing and Production
  • Trucking and Logistics

Workforce Housing

A lack of quality and affordable housing is one of the biggest barriers to welcoming greater numbers of new Americans to St. Louis. To date, few organizations in the region are addressing this lack of housing. Global St. Louis will operate as a financial and management intermediary through a Global St. Louis Housing Fund to raise capital to create and manage market-rate housing developments that serve the needs of the immigrant population while also revitalizing communities.
